Men into Healthcare Programme – Funded by the Skills Fund (criteria applies)

Qualification: OCN NI Level 2 Certificate in Induction to Working in Adult Social Care in Northern Ireland

Units include:

  • Adult Social Care Worker - Responsibilities and Duty of Care
  • Building Resilience and Self-Care to Address Challenges Associated with Working in Adult Social Care Practice
  • Communication in Adult Social Care
  • Continuing Professional Development in Adult Social Care
  • Health and Safety in Adult Social Care
  • Person-Centred Values in Adult Social Care
  • Understanding Protection and Safeguarding in a Social Care Context

Starting: Mon 27th January until Thu 12th June
Times: Tue 9am-1pm | Wed 9am-1pm | Thu 9am-4pm
Location: NWRC Strand Road Campus

Eligibility

To apply you must be:

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Eligible to work in Northern Ireland.
  • ‘Settled’ in Northern Ireland and has been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years; or is a person who has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK.
