Social Care Counts
Are you aged 19 or over, and working in a Health and Social Care setting? Are you interested in improving your skills, knowledge and understanding, that relates to some of the practical Health and Social Care skills?
If YES, then North West Regional College would be delighted to offer you a place at one of our workshops in our Social Care Counts programme this year. [Eligibility criteria will be applied].
We are offering 10 funded places at each of our college campuses at Strand Road, Strabane, and Limavady.
Each of the 90-minute workshops will be delivered hybrid style, with some workshops taking place online, and others taking place face2face at one of our campuses.
Social Care Counts Programme Schedule:
Session 1: Technology Enabled Care – 4th November 2024, 1.30pm to 3pm, Face2Face: Strand Road, Derry/Londonderry.
Session 2: Measuring Blood Pressure – 6th November 2024, 1.30pm to 3pm, Face2Face: Strand Road, Derry/Londonderry.
Session 3: Understanding Vital Signs – 6th November 2024, 3.15pm to 4.45pm, Face2Face: Strand Road, Derry/Londonderry.
Session 4: Diet, Nutrition, and Hydration – 8th November 2024, 9am to 10.30am, Online Session.
Session 5: Design for Dementia – 8th November 2024, 11am to 12pm, Face2Face: Strand Road, Derry/Londonderry.
Session 6: Skin Integrity – 8th November 2024, 2pm to 3.30pm, Online Session.
Session 7: Measuring Blood Pressure – 13th November 2024, 1.30pm to 3pm, Face2Face: Limavady.
Session 8: Understanding Vital Signs – 13th November 2024, 3.15pm to 4.45pm, Face2Face: Limavady.
Session 9: Measuring Blood Pressure – 20th November 2024, 1.30pm to 3pm, Face2Face: Strabane.
