Course Overview

This course is designed for those wishing to have a fulfilling career in this fast paced and continuously evolving world-wide industry. To become a successful Beauty Therapist you will need to have excellent people skills and love all things make-up and beauty! You are taught in ‘salons’ by professionals who have worked in industry or owned their own salons. Practical training and assessments are carried out on clients in a realistic working environment.
Students who choose to study on this popular course benefit greatly from our industry standard facilities, including the commercial salon, which is open to the public. Our students have the opportunity to compete in Regional and UK competitions. Grant support may be available.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

4 GCSEs Grades D-G to include Maths and English Grade D or above

ROI Requirements

4 OLCs (Grade O6 or above) You also require determination, a love of the subject, commitment to your studies and a good work ethic, all qualities that you will need to succeed! If you do not hold a pass in Math & English then you will complete Essential skills Numeracy & Communication alongside your vocational course

Career opportunities for successful students include positions within Beauticians, Health Spas, on Cruise Liners and or as Cosmetic Demonstrators as Salon Technicians. Many of our students go on to have successful careers and some start up their own business.
