Course Overview

This course is focused on the skills and expertise needed to work in various aspects of the film and animation industries.This course is designed for anyone with a keen interest in the ever changing world of multimedia. Whether interested in designing and producing for the web, video or animation this course is helps students develop the required skills. Students will learn a broad range of media skills including: camera person, designer, animator and interactive multimedia author - preparing them for a career in the world of digital communication with opportunities to work on real projects for industry, education or the voluntary sector. Students will have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art multimedia labs with industry production equipment. There will also be an opportunity to experience VR/AR technology as well as the latest Outside Broadcast Technology.
