Course Overview

This new C&G Diploma is delivered in NWRC state of the art clincal dental suite. It is taught exclusively by professionals from the dental industryYou will address topics such as: • Emergency first aid • Preparing and maintaining environments, instruments, and equipment for clinical dental procedures • Providing chair side support to patients for a number of procedures • Management of oral health diseases. Some assessment will take place in the workplace and will include the learner building a portfolio of evidence to meet the units in the qualification. There is one synoptic knowledge test at the end of the course.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

Must either be presently working as a dental nurse or have access work placement for a min of 16 hours per week. Successful completion of Year 1. This is the 2nd year of the course so an interview is not required.

Additional Information

This is a 2 year course and enrolment fees are paid in both years. Exam fees are also payable in Year 1 and for any resits necessary.
