Course Overview

The OCN NI Level 5 Extended Diploma in Hair and Beauty Management is now replacing the previous HNC/D Hair and Beauty Management as a two year full time programme to enable progression directly from Level 3 to higher education to develop your Hair and Beauty management skills. This qualification develops managerial skills applied to the hair and beauty sector. Providing a specialist work related programme of study that covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the hair and beauty management sector and offers particular specialist emphasis through specialist units. The hair & beauty sector is one of the fastest growing industries with a vast number of employment opportunities available.

Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Hairdressing OR Level 3 Diploma in Barbering OR Level 3 Diploma in Beauty therapy. (single units of achievement at Level 3 are not sufficient) Applicants should have at least 1 year industrial experience after completion of their Level 3 qualification. It is important that applicants have fundamental IT skills
