Course Overview

This course has been designed to provide learners with an opportunity to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills needed to contribute to interior design activities. This will include gaining knowledge in the theory of colour, design ideas and trends, and creating your own Interior design project. During class time students will be required to work independently on their projects, and will also be required to work independently at home to support the class room teaching and learning. To achieve the Full award learners must completed 2 or more units ( 6 credits). Grading for this qualification is pass or fail.Digital Portfolios are required to be produced for assessment and external moderation by OCN NI

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

learners must be 16 years of age on or before 1st July on year of entry to enrol on the course and have an interest in Interior Design.

Additional Information

The qualification will provide learners with the skills and design practices needed for further study or industry and provides learners with the opportunity to specialise in preferred areas of Interior design.
