Course Overview

This course is ideal for anyone with an interest in Print Making and is suitable for the total beginner. You will be introduced to processes like monoprint, Lino, collagraphs and drypoint etchings and will be shown the importance of sketchbook idea development to accompany the print works created. You will be introduced to a variety of printmaking tools and presses that will support the production of artist quality prints.This course can act as a support for students wishing to build a portfolio of prints for university or for artists who wish to expand upon their practice.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course just an interest in Printmaking

Additional Information

There is a material fee for the course and students must bring their own apron to cover their clothes. If you wish to print on specialist paper or materials like tote bags you must supply this yourself. Feedback and guidance will be given by the tutor throughout the course.
