Course Overview

This qualification extends and fosters a deeper level of understanding and application and naturally progresses learners’ expertise in people practice. It is suited to individuals who are either currently working in a people practice role and wish to contribute their knowledge and skills to help shape organisational value, or are working in a people manager role and wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of best practice approaches to managing people. Learners will build their knowledge, skills and confidence aimed at being able to add value to people management processes and activities; support change and drive impact ultimately creating immediate and short-term value for the business. Once you’ve successfully completed your CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management you become an Associate Member and can use the designation Assoc CIPD. Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

· Level 3 CIPD qualification or a higher qualification in Business/HR related area is desirable. · Experience working in a HR or people management role for at least 1 year. · Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Access to a laptop and adequate internet connection is essential to faciliatate online learning. · International students must be able to provide evidence of having achieved one of the following qualifications: o IELTS examination (score of 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each category) o TOEFL internet-based test (a score of 79 overall with a minimum of 17 in each category) o Pearson’s Test of English (a score of 54 overall with a minimum of 51 in each category) o Cambridge proficiency or advanced tests Grade C or above or equivalent · A current review of the applicants CV and a diagnostic interview with the Programme Co-ordinator will determine suitability to participate in this programme.

ROI Requirements

ROI Entry Requirement: 1. Students must be currently employed* in a HR role or line management role, with responsibility for managing a team and implementing effective People Management practices. *Current Employment: It is expected that the employing organisation will be a business employing 50+ employees to provide the ideal scope for candidates to be able to complete all assignments. A current review of the applicants CV and a diagnostic interview with the Programme Co-ordinator will determine suitability to participate in this programme 2. IT skills Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 3. Education requirements Leaving Certificate English (Grade O4 or above or recognised equivalent). 4.
