The aim of the OCN NI Level 4 Diploma in Software Testing qualification is to provide a broad range of skills and techniques that will enable learners to create a comprehensive testing strategy, develop programming / development skills and data base / SQL related skills. The OCN NI Level 4 Diploma in Software Testing qualification will also assist learners to develop software testing skills to match vacancies within ICT related occupations , which could include : Software Tester/QA Analyst: Ensure software quality across different industries.Test Automation Engineer: Create automated tests to boost efficiency.Software Developer: Transition into development roles with additional training.Project Manager: Oversee software testing projects to meet client needs.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

Learners will be expected to have reached a basic level of skills and knowledge in the area of software development and/or software testing such that they are able to develop and test rudimentary software programs. Learners would also be expected to have achieved GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above or equivalent.

ROI Requirements

Learners will be expected to have reached a basic level of skills and knowledge in the area of software development and/or software testing such that they are able to develop and test rudimentary software programs. Learners would also be expected to have achieved OLC English and Maths at Grade O5 or above or equivalent.
