Motor vehicle students from North West Regional College have attended technical seminars given by industry experts at the MechanExpert Roadshow held recently at Springtown Campus.During the event students were given the opportunity to meet technical experts from leading car parts manufacturers and ask questions.
Employers also shared their insights into the latest technology and best practice through demonstrations.
Barry McDaid, Lecturer at NWRC said: “This was an excellent opportunity to engage students with industry and employers, as well as showcase the college’s 'excellent training and learning facilities .”
The event included talks by Bosch (Diagnostics), Comma (Oil), Hella Gutmann Solutions (Diagnostics), Mann Filter (Filtration), and Schaeffler.
Technical expertise was provided by LUK, FAG, INA, Kilen, KYB, Comma, Gates, Bosch, Apec, Mann & Hummel, Hella, and Hella Guttmann Solutions.
