Students on Hairdressing and Barbering courses at North West Regional College’s Strabane campus have exhibited their talents at the annual Hair and Beauty Show, which this year was based on the theme of Peaky Blinders.
The event featured dozens of stunning creations in a number of categories including Avant Garde, Barbering, Cut and Colour, and Upstyle, and this year was the culmination of a successful Open Day at the Derry Road Campus.
Bernie Kerlin, Curriculum Manager, who compered the event, congratulated all the students who took part on the night.
She added: “What we have seen tonight is the culmination of months of hard work, and it is fantastic to see it all coming together
“The event is not only important to students for their college assessment but it is also a great opportunity for them to develop their practical skills.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has supported the students, for us as staff it is great to see the students gaining the confidence to showcase their skills.”
