Congratulations to all of our students who took part in the recent Pathway to Entrepreneurship programme with support from Enterprise NW’s Brian O’Neill and Carrie McCafferty, and NWRC’s Project Based Learning Mentor Annette Smith. We had some fantastic entries.
The Pathway to Entrepreneurship Programme was an 8 week programme delivered to over 50 students introducing students to the world of enterprise by starting a business in an area of interest.
The students had to present a 10 minute pitch on their business and their pitch was then judged by ENW for the winners to be decided
Participants now have access to bespoke 1-to-1 mentoring & next steps planning from an experienced business advisor.
The winners were
Best Idea - £150 – Cool Not Cruel (Malachy O’Neill and Reece Thompson)
Best Pitch/ Presentation - £150 – Wee Scoot (Kerri Mc Monagle, Denise Doherty and Rachel Bradley)
Runner Up - £100 – Keith Mackey (Islander)
Joint Third Places - £50 x 2 – Socially Sound (Aaron Crawford et al.) and Shane Bamford (Battle Beasts)
Judges Choice Award - £50 x 2 – Koneko Café (Thomas Malcolm) and Cora O’Donnell (CoraAlgora)
