Students from the Foundation Degree in Science Responding to Alcohol and Drug use, have been showcasing their Health Promotion activity during a series of special workshops at North West Regional College.

Using a range of digital technology tools the students delivered a series of audio and visual presentations to their peers.

Curriculum Manager Jacqueline MacBride said that students enjoyed developing their use of a range of new digital technology tools.

She added: “This will develop student’s readiness for employment and further learning in the digital world.”

Course Director Susan McGrory said that from her perspective the students really engaged in the activity and plans are now being made to introduce other new technologies in other areas of the course.

Anyone interested in further study in this area should contact Susan at susan.mcgrory@nwrc.ac.uk
