Congratulations to Karen Crawford from NWRC’s Early Years department who recently won the top award at the College’s Best of TEL Awards, (Technology Enhanced Learning). Karen also won the award for best use of Technology for part time learners.
The Level 2 CCLD Early Years Team won Best Use of TEL in FE, Lisa Taggart CM for Early Years won Best Use of TEL in HE, Tina McDaid, Hair and Beauty won Best Use of TEL for Learner Engagement, Jacqueline MacBride, Kim Boyle, Angela Thompson and Claire Campbell from Health & Care won Best Use of TEL for Assessment, and Cairmeal McBride won Best Use of TEL in a Blended Course.
Lecturers across the college were commended for their innovative use of technologies in their teaching, including making or modifying digital resources, using social media, utilising podcasts, augmented reality, online discussion forums and their use of established Apps.
