Limited places remain on NWRC’s OCR Level 2 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Business.
This is course is perfect if you have an interest in exploring real business practices. You will carry out research into different types of businesses and are assessed by completing projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations and activities which include finance, web design, marketing, personal selling etc.
You will also achieve the Level 2 Award in Social Media qualification which is vital to all businesses to enable them to promote their products/services and expand.
Successfully completing this course will also prepare you to progress onto the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business or other Level 3 courses at NWRC such as Media, Travel and Tourism, IT etc.
This qualification is valued by employers, as successful students possess practical experience and the Level 2 is equivalent to 5 GCSEs.
Previous students have secured employment in the Administration, Finance, IT, Retail and Travel and Tourism sectors, as well as jobs as flight attendants, financial administration officers and retail supervisors etc. Some of our graduates have also become entrepreneurs and opened their own businesses in beauty and web design.
The course will include one week’s work placement in Administration, Retail and Tourism which will give you an insight of what your career pathway may be.
