Welcome to NWRC’s Virtual Art and Design End of Year Show 2021.
I would like to welcome you to the Art and Design Departments End of year show for 2021.
Normally at this time of year we would have transformed our studio spaces into white walled galleries to allow our students to exhibit their work to a public audience, their family and also friends but again due to the circumstances we are still facing we have had to create a second virtual show for 2021 which we know you will enjoy.
This online exhibition is a celebration of the diverse range of work our students produce throughout the year. You will be able to view, Photography, Textiles, Fine Art Painting, Ceramics, Installation work, Graphics, Design, illustration, Printmaking, Sculpture and many more multimedia works so I am sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The work showcased is from: our Full time FE UAL L3 courses, our BTEC L5 HE Courses, our L4 HNC part time course and also the part time NCFE Photography night classes.
To the fabulous dedicated teaching and support team, I want to say thank you. It is because of your determination that we have been able to once again have this online show.
I want to also say a huge thank you to our students. This certainly has not been the year we had hoped for. You have had to work in a blended learning environment with many virtual classes and throughout it all you have been fantastic. Be proud of what you have achieved.
To our students who are moving onto pastures new, we wish you well and to any student who will be returning to us, we look forward to working with you all again in September.
