Ryan O'Connor
Course: BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media (Film, TV and Radio)
Meet Ryan, a Media student from Limavady Campus. He aspires to be a Film Director and has won numerous awards at independent film festivals.
I've won 11 awards at independent film festivals, including Best Director and Best Short Film. The support I received at NWRC gave me the confidence to pursue my passion.
Why did you chose to study Media at NWRC?
I chose to student Media as I always had a big interest in film and television, from acting to working behind the scenes.
This course gave me the perfect opportunity to learn new skills and use them for outside of education in regard to making short films and writing. It is a very interesting subject. I have learnt a lot and have become even more passionate about the industry. It has been the best time of my life in education.
